STEP 3 — COMPLETE ONBOARDING

You may find it helpful to keep this page open on a phone or computer while completing setup on your tablet.
The onboarding wizard will guide you through:

• API configuration
• Validation checks
• Deployment preparation
Please do not skip onboarding.
Each step exists to verify readiness, improve safety, and reduce setup mistakes.

STEP 4 — CREATE YOUR KRAKEN ACCOUNT

If you do not already have a Kraken account:
✔ Create a Kraken account
✔ Complete identity verification
✔ Wait for approval
✔ Continue to API creation
A dedicated Kraken account used exclusively for OC9 is strongly recommended.
Benefits include:

✔ Easier troubleshooting
✔ Better trade separation
✔ Cleaner analytics
✔ Reduced operational conflicts
✔ Easier long-term management

STEP 5 — CREATE YOUR API KEY

Inside Kraken:
Settings
→ Connections & API
→ Create API Key
Enable only the permissions shown inside the OC9 onboarding guide.
IMPORTANT:
❌ Never enable withdrawal permissions.
OC9 should never have the ability to withdraw funds.

STEP 6 — SAVE YOUR API CREDENTIALS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Kraken will display:
• API Key
• Private Key
Kraken only displays these credentials once.
✔ Copy both immediately
✔ Return to OC9
✔ Paste both credentials into the API setup screen

STEP 7 — VALIDATE CONNECTION

OC9 will automatically verify:
✔ Exchange connectivity
✔ API accessibility
✔ Permission configuration

Any configuration issues will be identified before deployment.
